ISVs

Many Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) are compatible with the BOX trading engine and offer front end trading applications for BOX Participants. Others are actively preparing their software for connectivity to the BOX trading engine. Links to the websites of many of these vendors are provided below.

Note that each of the ISVs proposes a particular package and perimeter of services; it is up to the BOX Participant to verify which provide the functionalities (eg, market making, order routing, "electric eye") and technical connectivity (hardware and telecoms requirements) which best suit his trading needs. In particular, BOX Participants should refer to the details regarding software certification for connection to BOX to obtain the complete inventory of BOX trading engine functionalities and determine what is appropriate for their business requirements (click here for more details). BOX has defined three separate set of criteria for certification to meet the minimum requirements of the following business activities:

• BOX Market Maker
• Proprietary trading
• Agency execution

Information regarding the scope of functionalities provided by each ISV is indicated to the right of each firm. Where a date appears, the ISV has completed the certification of its software for that market segment; where an "X" appears, the ISV has indicated its intention to certify its software for this segment, but has not as yet completed the process. The presence of the links below should in no manner be considered an endorsement or validation of the supplier by BOX LLC. Where the ISVs name is followed by an asterix*, it has not certified its software applications for all of the functionalities available; to see which functions are not provided, click on the firm name.
