William Easley
Vice Chairman
William Easley has been with the Exchange since its inception, joining BOX as Project Manager in September 2001. Prior to BOX, he worked as a consultant for the Montréal Exchange (2000-01), and Euronext SA in Paris (1997-2000), concentrating on the transfer of floor-based markets to an automated trading environment in Asia, South America and Canada, as well as in Europe. From 1987 until 1996, William ran an options market making and index arbitrage group in Paris, trading primarily on the Monep and Matif. Prior to this, he worked as an internal auditor and commercial artist. He holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from McGill University (Montreal) and a BA in Political Science and History from Vanderbilt University (Nashville).
Lisa J. Fall, Esq.
General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Lisa J. Fall, Esq. is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Boston Options Exchange Group, LLC, and has been with the firm since May 2006. As General Counsel, her primary responsibilities are providing legal guidance to BOX management and the Board of Directors and facilitating rule filings and communications with the SEC. In her role as Corporate Secretary, Lisa manages all aspects of corporate governance for BOX. Lisa also represents BOX as a member of the Board of Directors of Nasdaq OMX BX's Boston Options Exchange Regulation, LLC, BOX’s primary regulator. Prior to joining BOX, Lisa worked for Fidelity Investments in the areas of Trading, Legal, and Risk. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Political Philosophy from Syracuse University and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.
Vito Gendusa
Vice President, Finance & Administration
Vito Gendusa joined the Exchange in March 2007. As Vice President of Finance & Administration, he is responsible for the overall accounting and finance functions of BOX. Vito has over 20 years of accounting experience, including over 10 years as Controller in a hedge fund and broker dealer environment. He received his MBA from DePaul University and his BBA from Loyola University of Chicago. Vito is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Illinois CPA Society.
John Goode
Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer, John Goode is responsible for technology strategy, execution, and operations. He is a 20-year industry veteran and has held leadership positions in strategy, management, architecture, and the design of high volume, high performance systems. Prior to BOX, John served as the Head of Technology for SBC's Global Foreign Exchange business; VP of Electronic Trading Systems at the CME where he was responsible for Globex; and was the Global Head of E-Business Technology and VP of Architecture for Baxter International. John holds an MBA from Kellogg, an MS in Computer Science from DePaul, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from IIT.
Alan Grigoletto
Senior Vice President, Business Development & Marketing
Alan Grigoletto has been with the Exchange since its formation in 2002. He is head of all Business Development and is responsible for maintaining client relationships and making recommendations that enhance business on BOX. In addition, Alan acts as BOX's ambassador; he is an OIC instructor, industry panelist and noted expert on market structure. Prior to joining BOX, Alan was a Founding Partner at the investment advisory firm of Chicago Analytic Capital Management. He has nearly 30 years of expertise in trading and investments as an options market maker, stock specialist, institutional trader and portfolio manager. Alan was formerly the portfolio manager for both the S&P 500 and MidCap 400 portfolios at Hull Transaction Services, a market-neutral arbitrage fund. He has considerable expertise in portfolio risk management as well as strong analytical skills in equity and equity-related (derivative) instruments. Alan received his degree in Finance from the University of Miami and is an active member of the Securities Traders Association and the Options Industry Council. In addition, Alan has served as a steering committee member for the Futures Industry Association, a guest speaker at the Securities Exchange Commission, and a panelist for a House of Representatives discussion on the topics of best execution and penny pricing in the derivatives markets.
Tony McCormick
Chief Executive Officer
Tony McCormick was named Chief Executive Officer of the Boston Options Exchange in October 2009. Tony joined BOX from Charles Schwab & Co where he was responsible for managing its trade execution quality group and extensive business relationships. He chaired Schwab's Order Routing Committee and was a member of the Options Steering Committee. Previously, Tony spent 12 years Harris Futures Corporation in several leadership positions including CEO from 1993-1997. During the same period, Tony was managing director of Capital Markets for the Bank of Montreal and served on its Treasury Board. He has also served on numerous exchange committees and was a past member of several exchange boards. Tony received a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
Kenneth J. Meaden
Vice President Regulation
Kenneth J. Meaden is currently Vice President Regulation in the BOX Legal Department. As Vice President of Regulation, Ken's primary duties are to assist the Legal Department with SRO regulatory expertise and act as subject matter expert regarding regulatory matters involving oversight and regulation. Prior to joining BOX, Ken worked for an international bank as regulatory officer overseeing the firm's regulatory risk programs for the broker-dealer, energy trading and investment groups. Ken was also the Chief Regulatory Officer for an options and equities exchange and has experience as the Chief Compliance Officer for a fully electronic hedge fund. Ken also has many years of experience with the Boston Stock Exchange in various regulatory roles. Ken has participated in various industry committees and has held the position of Chairman of the Inter Market Surveillance Group and is currently a member of SIFGMA Legal and Regulatory Group. Along with a Business Management Degree from Anna Maria College, Ken has held various securities licenses and has Six Sigma certification from Villanova University.
Carl Miedaner
Vice President, Head of Market Operations
Carl Miedaner has been with BOX since its launch in 2004. As Head of Market Operations, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Exchange. Carl has 20 years of global electronic trading experience covering all aspects of the investment cycle. Prior to joining BOX, he was Head of Trading Operations for Bond Connect, an automated fixed-income ATS. Carl holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA from Hobart College.
Todd Rich
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Todd Rich joined BOX in April 2008. He has more than 15 years of trading and derivatives exchange experience. Before joining BOX, Todd served as the Director of Sales for the U.S. Futures Exchange (USFE). He previously served as the Director of Business Development for Eurex and Eurex US, and was a former options market maker on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). Todd was also a consultant with Andersen Consulting. He currently serves as an instructor for The Options Industry Council, as well. Todd holds an MBA from UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA.
Patrick Zielinski
Vice President, Business Development
Patrick has been with the Exchange since before its launch, joining BOX as a Market Supervisor in the Market Operation Center in August 2003. As Vice President of Business Development, Patrick is responsible for maintaining client relationships, addressing customer concerns, and working with the business development team, IT, Legal & Market Operations for initiating new projects, while enhancing BOX participation. Prior to joining BOX, he worked for RBS Citizens, N.A. in the areas of Audit & Risk Management. Patrick has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Financial Services from Roger Williams University.
